Palestine Mural Projects

This mural was created while on a artist delegation by Eye witness Palestine in partnership with Shoruk, designed by C.Gazaleh, Jumana (WATAN) and assisted by members of the delegation such as Eric Norberg to name one of the several artists and the youth of SHORUK which is a youth/community organization in the camp. The design inside the wording is the classic Hebrawi style pattern usually used on ceramics.

Made this in 2019 for a family owned store near Balata Refugee Camp near Nablus. The shop is next to an old Church but many a time the tour guides do not present the shop to the tourists and the shop suffers financially, the tour guides are Israeli a lot of the time and unfortunately tell the tourists not to shop there, the family who owns the shop are the sweetest people, just trying to survive under occupation.
